Mark has a passion for helping people lead transformational lives.   Whether your need is pre-marital or marital counseling, working through blending family difficulties, divorce recovery, or financial problems, Mark’s insight, giftedness, training, and experience in each of those areas can help you.

Mark graduated with honors from Denver Seminary earning Masters of Arts in both Counseling Ministries and Christian Studies. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree in business from The University of Texas, Austin.  In addition to his academic accomplishments, Mark has been trained in conflict resolution by Peacemaker Ministries, and is a trained Prepare-Enrich marital and pre-marital counselor.

Prior to entering into seminary he operated a Chick-fil-A restaurant for 26 years, mentoring countless young people.  He volunteered for more than ten years as a life coach and financial counselor to women in homeless shelters and couples going through financial and life difficulties.

Mark is an avid reader, enjoys golf, backpacking, cycling, downhill and cross country skiing, photography, and working on his “honey-do” list!  He lives with his wife of more than twenty four years, Cindy, in Parker, Colorado.  This is the second marriage for both of them and they like to say they did it wrong the first time and are working hard to do it right this time.  They have survived divorce, blending their families, and learned to thrive in their life together.  Together they have raised three children and enjoy their two grandchildren.
